Vehicle Fire Suppression Systems For India's Fleets, Trucks & EVs

A fire in a moving vehicle escalates in seconds, leaving no time for a manual extinguisher. The Fire Knight delivers autonomous vehicle fire protection for India detecting and suppressing engine, cabin, and battery fires at the source, across commercial fleets, buses, heavy machinery, and electric vehicles.

The Challenge

A Vehicle Fire Gives You Seconds: Not Minutes

The majority of vehicle fires on Indian roads begin in the engine bay: fuel leaks, electrical short circuits, turbocharger failures, hydraulic-line ruptures, and oil-mist ignition. On a moving truck or bus, that fire can spread from a spark to an inferno before the driver can even stop and reach an extinguisher.

Electric vehicles add a new, harder problem. Lithium-ion battery packs can enter thermal runaway a self-sustaining chain reaction that releases intense heat and flammable gases, and can reignite hours or even days later. Conventional extinguishers were never designed for it.

WHERE VEHICLE FIRES START

Six Ignition Points On Every Fleet

From diesel engine bays to lithium battery packs, the risk lives in the parts of the vehicle no driver can watch while moving.

Engine Compartment

Fuel leaks, oil mist, turbocharger heat, and electrical shorts make the engine bay the single most common origin of vehicle fires in India.

EV Battery Packs

Lithium-ion cells can enter thermal runaway from damage, overcharging, or heat — burning fiercely and reigniting long after the first flame.

Passenger & Cabin

Heat and smoke in the occupant compartment cause most bus-fire injuries — regardless of where the fire started.

Industrial Machinery

Hydraulic presses, CNC machines, compressors, and production equipment where hydraulic oil, coolant leaks, and electrical faults create serious fire risk in unmonitored machinery compartments.

Hydraulics & Machinery

Excavators, loaders, and heavy equipment run hot with pressurised hydraulic fluid — a leak onto a hot surface ignites instantly.

Fuel & Refuelling Areas

Diesel, petrol, and CNG lines near hot components and axles turn a small leak into a fast-moving, high-intensity fire.

How It Works

From Detection to Suppression — Automatically

Detection

Sensors watch for heat and flame in the engine bay and other risky spots. The Sentinel uses infrared flame sensors and heat sensors to check the engine, cabin, and battery area at the same time.

Activation

When the system finds a fire, it turns on by itself. There is also a manual button, so a person can start it by hand if needed.

Discharge

The system sprays a firefighting agent right onto the fire. The Sentinel aims its spray directly at the fire, instead of covering the whole engine bay, so it works fast and uses less agent.

Notify

Connected alerts can notify responsible personnel through the app, SMS and email when a fire event, discharge, low battery or system fault occurs.

FLEET COVERAGE

Protection For Every Vehicle You Run

One autonomous approach, engineered to the fire risk of each vehicle class on Indian roads and worksites.

Trucks & Logistics

Long-haul trucks and logistics fleets cover huge distances with hot engines and combustible cargo.

Buses & Passenger

City, intercity, and school buses carry people—where seconds of evacuation time save lives.

EVs & Battery

Electric cars, buses, and battery packs face thermal runaway that conventional methods can't handle.

Mining & Heavy Equipment

Excavators, loaders, and dumpers run hot in harsh, dusty conditions with pressurised hydraulics.

Commercial Fleets

Delivery vans, taxis, and utility fleets need scalable protection across many vehicles.

Specialty & Transport

Tankers, rail infrastructure, and specialty vehicles carry high-consequence fire risk.

The Sentinel: Smart Alerts

The Sentinel does more than put out fires. It also tells you when something happens. It connects to a mobile network and sends alerts to a phone app, SMS, and email as soon as it detects a fire, even if you are far from the vehicle. It is IP67 rated, which means it keeps working through dust and water, so it holds up in mining sites, motorsport, and heavy machinery too.

Key Benefits

Instant Response

Stops a fire in seconds, before it can cause serious damage or hurt someone.

Works With No One Around

Keeps working even if the vehicle is parked, stalled, or the driver cannot reach it after an accident.

Less Downtime

Keeps the fire small and local, so the vehicle can be repaired faster and cheaper.

Why Choose Us

What Makes The Fire Knight Different

We are not a traditional fire extinguisher company. We engineer autonomous suppression systems, a fundamentally different category of fire protection technology.

Works 24/7

The system watches the vehicle at all times. It does not wait for a driver to smell smoke. It detects heat or flame the moment it starts and acts right away.

Fits Any Vehicle

Small systems work for cars and vans. Larger systems protect big machines like mining trucks. Every vehicle gets a system sized to fit it.

Built to Last

Vehicles face dust, heat, and rough roads. Our systems are made to keep working in these tough conditions, so you are not left without protection.

Internationally Patented Technology

All Fire Knight systems are protected under International Patent Application No. PCT/AU2023/050224 — filed across Australia, India, UK, USA, Canada, and Europe. This is not off-the-shelf technology; it is original, protected engineering.

Fully Autonomous Operation

Our systems detect and respond without human activation. Critical for remote telecom towers, unmanned substations, farms, and any location where a person may not be present when fire strikes. The system is always on duty.

Multi-Sensor Intelligence

Beyond basic smoke and heat — our systems use infrared flame detection, VOC sensing, CO/CO₂/methane monitoring, and rate-of-rise temperature analysis. Multi-sensor confirmation eliminates false alarms and ensures genuine threats are never missed.

Eco-Safe Suppressants

All suppression uses water-based, non-toxic, biodegradable retardants. Safe for crops, wildlife, soil, and water bodies. The Guardian leaves a 14-day ground treatment that continues to protect long after the initial event. No harmful chemicals. Ever.

Engineered for India

The Fire Knight systems are designed and tested for Indian environmental conditions — extreme heat, monsoon weather, remote terrain, and the specific fire risks facing Indian power, telecom, agricultural, and industrial infrastructure. Not a global product force-fitted to India — genuinely India-ready.

International Standards Compliance

Engineered to ASME BPVC VIII Div.1, EN 13445, PD 5500, NATA, CE, and ISO 9001 standards. Full compliance documentation available for regulatory submissions, insurance purposes, and procurement approvals across Indian government and corporate environments.

Types of Fire Fighting Agents

Agent TypeWhat It Does
Dry Chemical

A powder that sprays out from several nozzles. Good for small and large vehicles.

Dual Agent

A mix of dry chemical and wet chemical. Covers more types of fire.
Wet Chemical

A liquid agent used inside closed spaces like engine bays.

Clean Agent / Gas

A clean gas, like FM200 or Novec 1230. Safe for electronics and EV batteries.
